Nizar Alhalabi is a Jordanian medic who equipped his practice with hundreds of different type of cactus and herbs, turning it into a mini-indoor botanical garden in the heart of Amman.

On Saturday, Dr. Alhalabi was seen attending to a patient while surrounded by hundreds of neatly arranged plants.

“I traveled to study in Greece, the country was very green. My practice makes you live in an atmosphere like the one I lived in. When I came back to Jordan, I opened the practice because I adore this atmosphere,” Alhalabi said.

He added that “most people say it is a beautiful thing that helps you relax and makes your mood better. I have my joy in my practice and I find myself very often in here.”

One of Dr. Alhalabi’s patients, Shaza Jaber, expressed her admiration. “Honestly, everyone who comes with me to the practice gets surprised from the place and its beauty, because it is a practice, and the practice has this wonderful view.”
